Enquiries and bookings

Sending a message through a contact form, email or text does not create a booking. A session, supervision arrangement or room-hire booking is confirmed only once we have agreed the details with you directly.

We may decline or end work where another service would better meet your needs, and will always try to signpost you elsewhere.

Fees and cancellations

Current fees are shown on each service page and are payable at or before each session unless agreed otherwise. The initial phone conversation is complimentary.

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to change or cancel. Sessions cancelled with less notice are charged in full because the time has been reserved for you.

Using this website

• Use the site lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to it.
• Don't submit false information or anyone else's details through our forms without their permission.
• Don't copy, republish or reuse our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
• Contact forms include a security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) to reduce spam. Submitting a form is your request for us to reply using the details you give.

Intellectual property

All text, imagery, branding and design on this site belong to Essex Therapy Barn or are used under licence. You may view and print pages for your own personal use.

Links to other sites

We link to organisations we consider reputable, such as the BACP, NCPS, NICE and the NHS, and our address links to Google Maps. We don't control their content and aren't responsible for it.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that can't lawfully be excluded.
