Neurodiversity Informed Therapy

Therapy that respects autistic, ADHD and otherwise neurodivergent ways of thinking, feeling and communicating.

About this service

Neurodiversity-informed therapy starts from the idea that difference is not a deficit. Sessions can be adapted around sensory needs, communication preferences, processing time and energy — without pressure to mask or perform. We work with anxiety, burnout, identity, relationships and the day-to-day impact of living in a world not built for you.

NICE and NHS guidance emphasise person-centred, adapted talking therapies for autistic people and those with ADHD. Therapy that accounts for sensory, communication and executive-function differences is more likely to be useful and sustainable.
